ANNUAL GENERAL
MEETING
St Barbara's Festival
The St Barbara’s Festival consists of the Miners Memorial Service and the St Barbara’s Parade. Last year over 200 people honored those we have lost in the mining industry and up to 10,000 people came and experienced the Parade for all its glory and an amazing display of our vibrant Kalgoorlie-Boulder community.
Starting with the St Barbara’s Parade. This extravaganza showcases our community. Companies, not for profits, schools, prospectors, animals and community groups march down historical Hannan Street, celebrating and embracing the year that was. From people on foot through to a CAT 793 Haul truck, there is something for all ages to see.
The Festival will conclude with the Miners Memorial Service, family members, mine management, mine rescue personnel, and the broader community will come together in reflection and remembrance of those who have lost their lives in the mining industry.
Without the support of our valuable community stakeholders, the Festival simply could not be the success that it is.
In 2024 on the 1st December St Barbara's Parade was held and on the 4th December Miners Memorial. If you would like any information or would like to become involved in 2025, please contact Jo Markowicz at membership@kbcci.com.au or 9021 2466.
